Blake Lively has given a sweet shout-out to her husband Ryan Reynolds’ upcoming film\u00a0Deadpool & Wolverine<\/a><\/em>. The actress posted a video and a photo on Instagram. The first frame shows Ryan dressed as Deadpool, sharing a sweet kiss with Blake. Next, the\u00a0Gossip Girl<\/em>\u00a0star shared a video highlighting how Deadpool \u201cis married to a millennial girl in real life.\u201d The video features a montage of clips from the\u00a0Deadpool<\/em>\u00a0series with several millennial references, including Avril Lavigne,\u00a0Harry Potter<\/em>,\u00a0Frozen<\/em>, Celine Dion, NSYNC,\u00a0Sabrina the Teenage Witch<\/em>,\u00a0My Little Pony<\/em>, summer balayage, Judy Blume, and Deadpool’s signature meta humour. In her caption, Blake Lively gave another millennial reference by writing, \u201cBrb I’m buying milky pens to write your name on my hand Ryan Reynolds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blake Lively<\/a>\u00a0mentioned how she should be promoting her upcoming film\u00a0It Ends With Us<\/em>\u00a0but couldn’t help sharing this post to cheer on the love of her life. She said, \u201cMy y2k girlies, I should be competitive bc\u00a0It Ends With Us<\/em> is coming out in 3 weeks BUT when your middle school obsessions, your feelings\u00a0post baby, or about Nice men who use feminism as a tool, your love of the Wizard of Oz, Succession, Sandy & Danny, driving with Avril blasting, the way the choreography of a certain boy*band song got me, of Baz Luhrmann fireworks to punctuate a moment, even down to the fact that our hair\u00a0color\u00a0is determined by seasons and the French method by which it’s painted are all so seen\u2026 MY WORD\u2026 it’s hard not to encourage my ladies to spot all the ways we’ve influenced\u00a0<\/a>Deadpool I’ve never been more proud. And I’ve given birth 4 times.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reacting to the post, actress Kate Kennedy wrote, \u201cMilky pen hand art was deeply romantic and we don’t talk about it enough!!!\u201d Avril Lavigne, who was name-checked in Blake Lively’s post said, \u201cThis movie is\u00a0gonna\u00a0rock! I can’t wait to see it!!\u201d Actor Nathan Fillion commented, \u201cJust hoping you don’t get any of his face on you. And that whatever he has isn’t catchy.\u201d Many others followed suit.<\/p>\n

Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em>\u00a0will be released on July 26. In addition to Ryan Reynolds and\u00a0Hugh Jackman<\/a>, the movie\u00a0also\u00a0features Leslie Uggams, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, and Brianna Hildebrand.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Blake Lively’s upcoming film\u00a0It Ends with Us<\/em>\u00a0will\u00a0be hitting\u00a0Indian cinema screens on August 9. The film, based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name, also features Justin Baldoni in a prominent role.<\/p>\n

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married in September 2012. The couple has four kids \u2013 James, Inez, Betty and Olin.
