A team from the District administration of Ayodhya<\/a> and the police arrived at SP leader Moeed Khan<\/a>‘s bakery to demolish the structure, citing allegations of illegal construction and his involvement in the rape of a minor girl. However, the operation faced a setback when the bulldozer got stuck in the soil near a pond, halting the demolition, which resulted in only part of the bakery’s wall being destroyed. Additional equipment has been called to resume the demolition<\/a> process, a TOI report stated.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that Moeed Khan had illegally constructed his bakery on pond land in Bhadarsa. “The bakery was sealed after being found illegal, and demolition is underway. The accused’s house will also be demolished,” said SDM Sohawal Ashok Kumar. Following these developments, Assistant Food Commissioner Manikchand Singh raided the bakery on Saturday and collected samples of the food products made there before sealing the establishment. The process to revoke the bakery\u2019s license has also been initiated.<\/p>\n

Assistant Commissioner Manikchand stated, “The process of revoking the bakery’s license has begun. After sealing the bakery, all the items inside are being removed.” The bakery was built on a considerable piece of land, with part of it used for cultivation. Municipal staff from Bhadarsa are currently clearing out the inside of the bakery.<\/p>\n

In a related incident, a case has been filed against SP leaders for allegedly threatening the family of the rape victim to settle the case. The FIR was filed at Ayodhya’s Purakalander police station by Ramsevak Das, following an incident where Mohammad Rashid, SP leader Jai Singh Rana, and another individual allegedly pressured the victim\u2019s family at the District Women’s Hospital around 11 pm.<\/p>\n

Ramsevak Das reported that “When they refused, they were threatened with death.” Nagar Kotwal Ashwani Pandey confirmed that a case has been registered and the matter is under investigation.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Moeed Khan and his house help were accused of raping and blackmailing a 12-year-old girl who worked as a daily wage employee at Khan\u2019s home in the Pura Kalandar area of Ayodhya. According to officials, Khan was arrested on Thursday, with charges of raping the girl for over two months. The abuse allegedly resulted in the girl becoming pregnant, with Khan and his employee, Raju, using video recordings of the assault to threaten her.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver two months, Khan continued to sexually abuse her, using the video to intimidate and threaten her. Khan committed these acts with the assistance of Raju, his employee. The crime came to light when the minor became pregnant,\u201d a police officer remarked. Following the family\u2019s complaint, the police have filed a report against the accused under the Pocso Act.<\/p>\n

Sanjay Nishad, a leader who visited the victim’s family in Ayodhya, echoed the anguish over the incident. In a poignant moment, Nishad was visibly moved during a media interaction. He expressed his dismay, stating, “Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA is a lie. We lead the Nishad community. Nishads are extremely backward and also scheduled. Women are revered in our society, yet she has suffered atrocities. Those who chant PDA slogans and pat themselves on the back after winning in Ayodhya seem to have won with the help of these criminals.”<\/p>\n

As the investigation and the administrative procedures continue, the community and officials await further actions to ensure justice for the victim and consequences for the implicated individuals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
