India Meteorological Department’s weather forecast for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal predicts light to moderate rain in several locations, with thunderstorms and lightning possible in isolated areas. Heavy rainfall is expected in specific districts including Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Nilgiris, and the ghat areas of Coimbatore.
