According to officials aware of the developments, train services to Bangladesh started tapering since mid-July.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:1-->&#8220;One passenger rake (train) owned by India is currently held up in Bangladesh,&#8221; a senior official told ET while adding that eight loaded rakes carrying goods &#8211; largely food grains &#8211; from India are ready and awaiting clearance.<\/p>\n<p>Tensions in Bangladesh have escalated to imposition of military rule with <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/prime-minister-sheikh-hasina\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina<\/a> abruptly fleeing the country.<\/p>\n<p>There are three passenger train services that ply between India and Bangladesh on a regular basis.
