Sharma, 60, assumed the charge of the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/ncw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCW<\/a> chairperson on August 7, 2018. <\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:2--> &#8220;Today marks the final day of my nine-year tenure as the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/chairperson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chairperson<\/a> of the National Commission for Women (NCW). These nine years have been like a roller coaster ride for me.
