As a result the <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/business\/india-business\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" frmappuse=\"1\">sensex<\/a>, after opening near the 80K mark, closed 820 points (1%) up at 79,706 points while <!-- -->Nifty<!-- --> on NSE gained 251 points (1%) to close at 24,368 points.<br \/>Of the 30 sensex stocks, 28 closed with gains.Outside of the large caps, mid cap and small cap stocks also witnessed good buying interest.
