Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s\u00a0<\/a>Stree 2<\/em>\u00a0has been dominating the box office<\/a> and how. On day 10, the horror comedy minted \u20b9 32.5 crore at the ticket window, reported Sacnilk<\/a>. With this, the total collection of the film now stands at \u20b9 341.65 crore.\u00a0Stree 2<\/em>\u00a0is now inching towards the \u20b9 350-crore club. Stree 2 <\/em>witnessed a \u201c48.39 per cent Hindi occupancy on its second Saturday\u201d, the report added. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is the sequel to the 2018 Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor’s\u00a0Stree<\/em>. Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Vijay Raaz<\/a> are also a part of it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Film critic and Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a report on Stree 2’s <\/em>box office trends on X (formerly Twitter). He mentioned that the Amar Kaushik directorial is expected to witness growth over the weekend due to the Janmashtami festivities. \u201cStree 2<\/em> maintains an excellent hold at the BO, shows no signs of fatigue, and continues to deliver double-digit figures. Previously, in an interaction with\u00a0indianexpress.com<\/a>, Amar Kaushik reacted to the film making waves at the theatres. He said, \u201cI am very happy actually. I am very happy that the film is performing so well at the box office. I always had this one thing in my mind: numbers should not come by fluke whenever I make a film. For Stree 2<\/em>, I wanted to make sure that people were not going to watch it only because they loved part one. It was important to me that people liked the film. I have always craved love from the reviewers as well as the audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stree 2<\/em>\u00a0premiered on Independence Day (August 15). It clashed with\u00a0Khel Khel Mein<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Vedaa<\/em>\u00a0at the ticket window.<\/p>\n
