Nishad Kumar Wins Silver Medal:<\/strong> India have added to their tally at Paris Paralympics 2024, as Nishad Kumar wins Silver medal in Men’s High Jump – T47 Final, and with that, India now rise to 27th in the medals tally with 7 medals. The win proved to be India’s last medal win of Day 4, as the Day concluded with two medal wins, and Day 5 promises to add more to the tally.<\/p>\n

Men’s High Jump – T47 Final | As It Happened<\/span><\/h3>\n

11 Para athletes competed in the Men’s High Jump – T47 Final, and amongst those 11, there were two Indian athletes \u2014 Nishad Kumar and Ram Pal.<\/p>\n

Throughout the Final, Nishad Kumar went toe-to-toe with USA’s Roderick Townsend for the top spot, but ultimately, the latter proved to be to good for the Indian Para athlete, and Nishad Kumar, inspite of his valiant efforts, settled for a silver medal.<\/p>\n
