These projects, to be set up in Marathwada, Vidarbha, Pune, and Panvel, are expected to generate over 29,000 <!-- -->jobs<!-- -->.<br \/>One of the approved projects is a <!-- -->semiconductor<!-- --> manufacturing unit, a <!-- -->joint venture<!-- --> between Israel&#8217;s Tower Semiconductor and Adani Group, which will be located at Taloja MIDC in Panvel.The project will be implemented in two phases, with a total investment of Rs 83,947 crore, focusing on the production of analog\/mixed signals. &#8220;The <!-- -->manufacturing<!-- --> capacity will be 40,000 wafers per month in phase I and 80,000 wafers after phase and employing more than 5,000 personnel,&#8221; said an official.<br \/>In a meeting held on July 30, the cabinet sub-committee had already approved RRP Electronics&#8217; semiconductor manufacturing project, along with other projects worth Rs 80,000 crore. With the latest approvals, the total value of projects approved in the last two months has reached Rs 2 lakh crore, with a potential to create 35,000 jobs.<br \/>Among other approved projects, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India will set up a unit in Pune with an integrated approach, investing Rs 12,000 crore and creating 1,000 jobs. The project will focus on manufacturing <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/electric-car\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" frmappuse=\"1\">electric vehicles<\/a> with usage of advanced technology.
