The <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/financial-action-task-force\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Financial Action Task Force<\/a> (FATF) had in June adopted the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/mutual-evaluation-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mutual evaluation report<\/a> on India and placed the country in the &#8220;regular follow-up&#8221; category &#8212; the highest rating given by the global watchdog and a distinction shared by only four other G20 countries. <\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:2--> Countries rated under the &#8216;regular follow-up category&#8217; are required to submit a follow-up report to the FATF once in three years on a voluntary basis. <\/p>\n<p> Out of 40 parameters looked into by the FATF, India received the highest rating in 37 parameters, official sources said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Priority action points will be given by the FATF in the September 19 report,&#8221; sources said, adding that on most of the parameters, India would be getting a positive rating in the report, while there would be few sore points on which FATF has suggested improvements. <\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:1--><\/p>\n<div data-grx-impression=\"Article Recommendations - Edit#articleshow_inline_impression#news\/india\/fatf-to-come-out-with-india-mutual-evaluation-report-on-september-19 | \" class=\"ar_wrp arwd_ld_chk font_mon clr hide custom_ad\">\n<div class=\"ar_survey hide\">\n<p><span class=\"arb_btn\"><span class=\"ar_lt_arr\">\u00ab<\/span> Back to recommendation stories<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/article_recommendations_wd.cms?msid=113229186&wd_type=inner&art_seo=news\/india\/fatf-to-come-out-with-india-mutual-evaluation-report-on-september-19potime:1--> While adopting the mutual evaluation report in the FATF plenary held in Singapore between June 26-28, the global crime watchdog hailed India for achieving a high level of technical compliance. <\/p>\n<p> It had said the country&#8217;s efforts towards <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/anti-money-laundering\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anti-money laundering<\/a> (AML) and <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/counter-terrorist-financing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">counter-terrorist financing<\/a> (CFT) are achieving good results. <\/p>\n<p> FATF, however, said the country needs to address &#8220;delays&#8221; related to the conclusion of money laundering and terrorist financing prosecutions.<\/p>\n<p>It also flagged the need to strengthen the supervision and implementation of preventive measures in some of the non-financial sectors.
