San Francisco<\/a>: Extending the partnership with India is perhaps the most important thing the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration<\/a> has done and, in the last year, the partnership has reached “escape velocity”, US deputy secretary of state Kurt Campbell<\/a> has said. <\/p>\n

“Successive administrations in Washington<\/a> and New Delhi<\/a> have invested time and political capital<\/a> to bring this partnership to greater and greater heights. But in the last year, I like to say, our partnership has reached ‘escape velocity’,” Campbell said at a summit organised by the US India Strategic Partnership Forum<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Speaking at the Indus-X summit, he termed US-India cooperation on critical technology important for “Indo-Pacific security”.
