The Chief Secretary has asked the junior doctors to reach State Secretariat Nabanna at 4.45PM. Meanwhile, the protest on the streets by the junior doctors in front of the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/west-bengal-health-department\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">West Bengal Health Department<\/a> headquarters at Salt Lake entered the third day on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:2-->Sticking to their older stand, the West Bengal government did not agree to a 30-member delegation and live streaming as demanded by the doctors. Instead, the government allowed for a video recording of the whole meeting will be allowed for transparency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to your positive response and are committed to working together to benefit the innumerable patients dependent on the Government health infrastructure in the State. Hon&#8217;ble Chief Minister will be happy to meet you today,\u201d Pant wrote in his letter.<\/p>\n<p>The junior doctors, who are agitating against the rape and murder of a fellow doctor at the R. G. Kar Medical College &amp; Hospital, have made it clear that they will not call off their protests until their demands are fulfilled.<br \/><b><br \/>ED, CBI raids in multiple locations<\/b><br \/>Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at Former <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/rg-kar-medical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RG Kar Medical<\/a> College &amp; Hospital Principal Sandip Ghosh\u2019s ancestral residence at New Town\u2019s Chinar Park and residence of businessman Chandan Louha at Tala in North Kolkata and a private medical shop at Kalindi from Thursday morning. I was shocked. I was born in the RG Kar hospital, I have studied there and my father taught there, so I was shocked,\u201d Sudipto Roy said today after CBI left. \u201cCBI is probing the incident. They wanted a couple of pieces of information and after getting the information, the CBI team left.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur main job is patient\u2019s welfare. This is our job,\u201d Roy, who is chairman of Patient\u2019s Welfare Chairman of RG Kar, said, adding, \u201cI said unnatural death when the media asked me for the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen such a gruesome incident happens, everyone rushed to the spot which is natural. My father is a MLA. He does not regulate any post. He works as chairman of the Patient Welfare Committee and follows the government&#8217;s instructions. I would appeal to everyone, please cooperate with the CBI.
