The cabinet on Wednesday accepted a high-level panel&#8217;s recommendations for holding <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/simultaneous-polls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">simultaneous polls<\/a> for the Lok Sabha, state assemblies and local bodies in a phased manner after a countrywide consensus-building exercise. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Cabinet has accepted the recommendations of the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/high-level-committee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">High-Level Committee<\/a> on Simultaneous Elections.
