Sky News and NBC News have combined forces to launch a new global affairs podcast – The World With Richard Engel And Yalda Hakim.<\/p>\n

The new podcast will combine eyewitness reporting from across the world with in-depth analysis and interviews with the voices that matter.<\/p>\n

It will be presented by Sky News lead world news presenter Yalda Hakim<\/a><\/strong> and NBC News chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Episodes will be available every Wednesday from 9 October.<\/p>\n

The two will aim to give audiences a “thoughtful look at our world’s most complex issues” and “a front-row seat” to the events shaping the globe.<\/p>\n

Hakim said: “This is a moment of intensifying conflict and polarisation. I hope therefore this podcast can serve as a kind of port in the storm.”<\/p>\n

Engel said: “The launch of this podcast comes at a crucial time in our world. We are in the midst of covering conflicts that have ripple effects across the globe.”<\/p>\n

David Rhodes, executive chairman at Sky News Group, said: “These delicate times call for more insight and analysis – and that’s exactly the journalism that Yalda Hakim and Richard Engel can provide.<\/p>\n
