The commission, comprising president Sanjeev Batra and member Monika Bhagat, also directed the opposite parties to refund the price of the e-scooter of Rs 78,901 to the complainant, Ritika Jolly of Lalheri road, Khanna, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the copy of order, failing which the complainant shall be held entitled for interest at the rate 8% per annum from the date of order till the date of actual payment.<br \/>As per the complainant, on Nov 3, 2021, she purchased a scooter, Avon E-Star DX W\/LI 60\/20 Batteries, for Rs 78,901 from Sood Electricals, Samrala road in Khanna, manufactured by Messrs Avon Cycles, Ludhiana.However, on the day of its purchase, the scooter developed snag and the matter was reported to the dealer who kept the vehicle for five days and handed over the same to the complainant after repair, she said, adding that on Nov 24, 2021, the vehicle again stopped and the dealer repaired and returned it after 10 days. In Dec 2021 again due to defect, the vehicle was given to dealer and till then the vehicle is in the possession of the dealer. She requested dealer to change the vehicle with a new one, but to no avail.
