The judgment has been pronounced within a record 1.5 year of the incident.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--><br \/>The victim girl was missing since the morning of March 26, 2023 from her Tiljala residence. After receiving the complaint, <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/kolkata-police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kolkata police<\/a> had launched an extensive search. Later in the evening, her body was found in a sack inside the kitchen of her neighbor Alok Kumar Shaw&#8217;s flat.The accused had allegedly abducted the girl by enticing her with a chocolate. He then brutally murdered her following the sexual assault, sources said.Kolkata Police\u2019s Homicide Section had taken over the investigation.
