Former Arsenal star Jens Lehmann has been fined \u20ac135,000 (\u00a3112,000) for damaging his neighbour’s garage with a chainsaw.<\/p>\n

The ex-goalkeeper was a member of the north London side’s ‘Invincibles’ team that went the entire 2003\/04 season unbeaten.<\/p>\n

The controversial former star got in trouble in his hometown of Starnberg, in the south of Germany.<\/p>\n

Lehmann was accused by the public prosecutor of sawing off a roof beam in his neighbour’s garage.<\/p>\n

He was initially fined \u20ac420,000 (\u00a3350,000) over the incident, which took place in July 2022.<\/p>\n

However, this fee was reduced on appeal.<\/p>\n

“Mr Lehmann accepts responsibility. He has come to an agreement with his neighbour,” German media quoted Lehmann’s lawyer Florian Ufer as saying following the decision made on 27 September.<\/p>\n

Lehmann, who was also accused of avoiding paying parking fees at Munich Airport has now paid them, Mr Ufer added.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
