Jr NTR and Janhvi\u00a0Kapoor’s\u00a0Devara: Part 1<\/em>\u00a0experienced a slight dip at the box office on its second Friday. On Day 8, the action-packed film amassed \u20b96.25 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk<\/a>. On October 4, the film recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 20.44\u00a0percent. With this,\u00a0Devara: Part\u00a01’s<\/em>\u00a0total domestic collection stands at \u20b9221.85 crore. The movie has been directed by Koratala Siva and produced under the banner of\u00a0NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts.\u00a0Devara: Part 1<\/em> has been released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In Devara: Part 1<\/em><\/a>, Jr NTR plays a double role \u2014 Devara and Varadha while Janhvi Kapoor essays the character of Thangam. Saif Ali Khan has slipped into the shoes of the antagonist Bhaira. The film marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi and Saif. Zarina Wahab, Shine Tom Chacko, Abhimanyu Singh, Talluri Rameswari, Kalaiyarasan and Shruti Marathe are also a part of the project.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Friday, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a note on X (formerly Twitter) analysing Devara: Part\u00a01<\/em>‘s\u00a0week\u00a01\u00a0collection. He claimed that the film has scope to\u00a0\u201caccumulate a good total\u201d\u00a0before the release of Alia\u00a0Bhatt’s\u00a0Jigra<\/em><\/a> and Rajkummar\u00a0Rao’s\u00a0Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video<\/em> arrive on the big screens on Dussehra (October 11).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Taran Adarsh wrote,\u00a0\u201cDevara<\/em> packs a solid total in Week 1. The total is all the more commendable considering the film released with low-key buzz and its opening on Friday morning was not up to the mark. However, the numbers of Devara escalated from Friday evening onward, with mass pockets driving it forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added,\u00a0\u201cGoing forward, Devara<\/em> gets time to accumulate a good total until 10 October, as Jigra<\/em> and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video<\/em> arrive on Dussehra (11 October), after which\u00a0the number of screens and shows will be reduced.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
