Jennifer Lopez <\/a>is currently enjoying her\u00a0\u201cme time\u201d.\u00a0The singer-actress filed for divorce from her husband, actor Ben Affleck in August. Now, in an interview, Jennifer opened up about her positive mindset.\u00a0\u201cI think\u00a0that’s\u00a0what I love about life:\u00a0that\u00a0there’s\u00a0no arrival point.\u00a0There’s\u00a0only getting better and growing if you want to.\u00a0It’s\u00a0either growing or dying, and I\u00a0don’t\u00a0want to do the dying part. And yeah, there are times when I thought I figured it out, and then life goes,\u00a0‘Let’s\u00a0send you another thing and see if you fall for it.\u00a0Let’s\u00a0see if you\u00a0really\u00a0have learned that lesson.’\u00a0And I\u00a0hadn’t,\u201d\u00a0J.Lo said in a chat with Interview magazine.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite the split, Jennifer Lopez has no regrets about her love story with Ben.\u00a0\u201cNot one second,\u201d\u00a0the actress said,\u00a0\u201cThat\u00a0doesn’t\u00a0mean it\u00a0didn’t\u00a0almost take me out for good. It almost did. But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself,\u00a0\u2018F**k, that is\u00a0exactly\u00a0what I needed.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The star also talked about her current dating life and made it clear that\u00a0she’s\u00a0single and not looking for romance\u00a0at the moment. She said,\u00a0\u201cNow\u00a0I’m\u00a0excited when you say\u00a0you’re\u00a0just going to be\u00a0on your own. Yes,\u00a0I’m\u00a0not looking for anybody, because everything that\u00a0I’ve\u00a0done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f**king do when\u00a0it’s\u00a0just me flying on my own\u00a0…\u00a0what if\u00a0I’m\u00a0just free?”<\/p>\n

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck <\/a>first dated in 2002 after meeting on the Gigli<\/em> set. The couple soon got engaged but called off their wedding in 2004. Nearly two decades later, the duo rekindled their romance in 2021. They got married in Georgia in April 2022 and filed for divorce in August, two years\u00a0after getting married.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the work front, Jennifer\u00a0Lopez’s\u00a0film Unstoppable<\/em> premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival <\/a>last month. The film also features Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena and Don Cheadle in\u00a0important\u00a0roles. It will\u00a0be released\u00a0in theatres on December 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n
