Huge assembly was witnessed in <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/kolkata\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kolkata<\/a> in the mega rally called by the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/west-bengal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">West Bengal<\/a> Junior Doctor&#8217;s Front on Friday evening where common people joined in large numbers. Various private hospitals, including <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/fortis-healthcare-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-16648.cms\" rel=\"noopener\">Fortis<\/a>, Peerless hospitals, have started pendown on non-medical work on October 14 and 15. However, emergency services will be open only.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:1-->&#8220;It is the moral duty of the government to create an ambience of peace and safety. We urge the West Bengal Chief Minister. She is no ordinary leader. She has come through movement. We appeal to the state govt and Chief Minister in particular to be sympathetic and resolve this crisis. Time has come. We need to be concerned about their health. We are answerable to their parents,&#8221; Ashokan said.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/mamata-banerjee\" rel=\"noopener\">Mamata Banerjee<\/a> on Friday, IMA has urged her to resolve the issue and expressed concern over the health condition of the junior doctors. Meanwhile Calcutta High Court released nine protesters who were arrested by Kolkata Police on October 9 and arrested under non-bailable sections from a Kolkata Puja pandal. <\/p>\n<p>In a letter to Banerjee, the IMA said the doctors deserve her \u201cimmediate attention\u201d and pointed out that a safe working environment is a \u201cprerequisite\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeaceful ambience and security are not a luxury. They are a prerequisite.
