Pic: Sikh PA<br \/>\n        <\/span><br \/>\n      <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Meanwhile, India has said it ordered the expulsion of six Canadian diplomats &#8211; and withdrew Mr Verma &#8211; after he and others were named as &#8220;persons of interest&#8221; in an investigation, but it did not go into detail about the probe.<\/p>\n<p>The Indian foreign ministry said in a statement that &#8220;it received a diplomatic communication from Canada yesterday suggesting that the Indian high commissioner and other diplomats are &#8216;persons of interest&#8217; in a matter related to an investigation in that country&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It added: &#8220;We have no faith in the current Canadian government&#8217;s commitment to ensure their security.
