Abbas Ansari is the son of gangster-politician and former MLA <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/mukhtar-ansari\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mukhtar Ansari<\/a>, who died in jail a few months ago. <\/p>\n<p><style><![CDATA[\n    \t    #sr_widget.onDemand p, #stock_pro.onDemand p{font-size: 14px;line-height: 1.28;}\n    \t    .onDemand .live_stock{left:17px;padding:1px 3px 1px 5px;font-size:12px;font-weight:600;line-height:18px;top:9px}\n    \t    #sr_widget.onDemand .sr_desc{margin:0 auto 0;}\n    \t    #sr_widget.onDemand .sr_desc{color: #024d99;margin-top:10px;}\n    \t    #sr_widget.onDemand .crypto .live_stock .lb-icon{8px 6px 5px 3px !important}\n    \t    #sr_widget.crypto.onDemand a.text{border-bottom:1px solid #ccc;padding-bottom:5px;display:block;width:100%}\n    \t    #sr_widget.onDemand .sr_desc .text p, #stock_pro.onDemand .sr_desc .text p{font-size:12px;font-weight:400;}\n    \t]]><\/style>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:1--> A bench of Justices M M Sundresh and Pankaj Mithal gave the relief to Ansari. <\/p>\n<p> The apex court on August 14 had issued notice to the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/enforcement-directorate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enforcement Directorate<\/a> (ED) and sought its reply on the appeal filed by Ansari challenging an order of the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/allahabad-high-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Allahabad High Court<\/a> which rejected his bail. <\/p>\n<p> The high court on May 9 had dismissed Ansari&#8217;s bail plea. <\/p>\n<p>Considering the material available on record, including the flow charts which clearly demonstrate the origin of funds and also explains how the funds found their way into the accounts of the accused Ansari, this court finds him not entitled for a bail at this stage, the high court had said. <\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--><br \/> The high court had also mentioned in its order that the money trail links Ansari with the movement of funds to and from the two firms &#8212; M\/s <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/vikas-construction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vikas Construction<\/a> and M\/s Aaghaaz. The firms, the ED has alleged, were used by Ansari for money laundering.  The ED had registered a case against Ansari, a Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA, under the Prevention of <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/definition\/money-laundering\" rel=\"noopener\">Money Laundering<\/a> Act, 2002 on the basis of three previous cases.
