As a test format, proceedings of all benches of the Supreme Court were streamed live on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:1-->The streaming was done on the court&#8217;s own application instead of its official YouTube channel. An app to facilitate live streaming of all hearings is in the testing phase, said people in the know.<\/p>\n<p>Until now, only Constitution bench matters and hearings of public importance were live-streamed. In a landmark judgment passed in 2018, SC had set the ball rolling for <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/virtual-access\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">virtual access<\/a> to courtroom proceedings.
