Madhya Pradesh<\/a> Chief Minister Mohan Yadav<\/a> announced that the state has received investment proposals worth over Rs 31,000 crore during the fifth edition of the Regional Industry Conclave<\/a> (RIC) held in Rewa on Wednesday. These investments are expected to generate more than 28,000 jobs across the state.<\/p>\n

The event, held in the Vindhya region at Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium, showcased significant investment plans from key sectors, with proposals including Sri Siddharth Infratech\u2019s (Greenco) Rs 12,800 crore for renewable energy<\/a> in Panna and Rewa districts, Rithwik Projects Pvt Ltd\u2019s Rs 4,000 crore for renewable energy in Panna, and Patanjali Ayurved<\/a>\u2019s Rs 1,000 crore in wellness and food processing. Additionally, Ultratech Cement<\/a> proposed a Rs 3,000 crore cement unit in Maihar, and the Adani Group<\/a>\u2019s Mahan Energen Limited committed Rs 2,528 crore for a coal block in Singrauli district.<\/p>\n

Prominent investors also shared their plans for the region. Dalmia Group\u2019s Puneet Dalmia announced a Rs 3,000 crore cement and clinker unit in Rewa, set to be the world\u2019s first 100% renewable energy-based plant. Rama Group\u2019s Naresh Goyal revealed plans for a Rs 500 crore furniture plant in Satna district.<\/p>\n

Employment Boost and Infrastructure Development
<\/strong>During the conclave, Chief Minister Yadav laid the foundation stone and dedicated 21 industrial units worth Rs 2,680 crore, which will create 1,830 jobs. He also distributed Letters of Intent for the allocation of 146 acres of land to 85 industrial units, expected to attract Rs 918 crore in investment and generate 3,350 additional employment opportunities<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yadav emphasised the state\u2019s commitment to increasing industrial investment and indicated that the government is prepared to amend existing policies to accommodate large-scale projects. He reiterated the state\u2019s commitment to ensuring employment for every citizen and announced plans to establish container depots in Singrauli, Katni, and Rewa districts to facilitate exports.<\/p>\n


Focus on MSMEs and Tourism
<\/strong>Yadav also performed a virtual groundbreaking ceremony for new MSME industrial areas, with development plans worth Rs 29 crore for Patera in Mau district and Churhat Electric Substation near Rewa. He announced an IT Park for Rewa, estimated at Rs 66.71 crore, and highlighted the state\u2019s focus on developing its tourism sector.In a bid to enhance tourism, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board signed an MoU with AKS University, Satna, to boost tourism development and provide training and employment opportunities in the Rewa and Satna regions. Additionally, a partnership was formed between the Municipal Corporation Rewa and Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) to ensure industrial water supply.Investors Praise State\u2019s Pro-Business Initiatives
<\/strong>Several industry leaders expressed their confidence in Madhya Pradesh\u2019s business environment. Reliance BioEnergy Business Head Harinder K Tripathi lauded the state\u2019s leadership for its focus on green energy and employment generation. Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali Group emphasised the cultural and economic potential of Madhya Pradesh, announcing plans to establish Yoga and wellness centre.
