Topping the list are Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/entertainment\/billie-eilish-suffers-injury-after-dangerous-fall-on-stage-6860085\">Billie Eilish<\/a>, showcasing a blend of both seasoned icons and rising stars. The announcement also delivered a few notable snubs and surprises, sparking plenty of conversation. Here&#8217;s a look at the highlights from the 2025 Grammy nominations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Female Artists Dominate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After female acts swept all top honours at the 2024 Grammys, women continue to shine in 2025 by dominating major categories. Women make up six of the eight nominees for Album and Record of the Year and are well-represented in categories such as Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best R&amp;B Performance, Best R&amp;B Song, Best Americana Performance, Best Folk Album and Best Latin Pop Album.<\/p>\n<p><!--MIDTABOOLA--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Snubs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/entertainment\/here-is-why-ariana-grande-does-not-prefer-to-hear-some-of-her-tracks-5918341\">Ariana Grande <\/a>received three nominations but was noticeably absent from the top three categories: Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year,\u00a0as well as\u00a0the Pop Solo Performance category. Taylor Swift garnered six nominations, but her groundbreaking concert film,\u00a0<em>The Eras Tour<\/em>, did not\u00a0make the cut for\u00a0Best Music Film. Additionally, her collaboration on\u00a0<em>Fortnight<\/em>\u00a0was not nominated for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance; instead, Taylor is recognized for her cameo on Gracie Abrams&#8217;\u00a0<em>Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Other overlooked talents include Hozier, whose return to the charts with\u00a0<em>Too Sweet<\/em>, Tommy Richman&#8217;s viral hit\u00a0<em>Million Dollar Baby<\/em>\u00a0and Vampire Weekend&#8217;s critically acclaimed\u00a0<em>Only God Was Above Us<\/em>, all of which went without nominations. She also supported other artists, as seen in her duet with Linda Martell, a pioneer for Black artists in country music. Martell, the first Black woman to perform solo at the Grand Ole Opry, receives her first Grammy nomination alongside Beyonce for Best Melodic Rap Performance with\u00a0<em>Spaghetti in Cowboy Carter<\/em>, featuring Shaboozey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Famous Faces<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Actor Daniel Radcliffe could become a Grammy winner with his nomination for Best Musical Theatre Album for\u00a0<em>Merrily We Roll Along<\/em>. He is up against Alicia Keys and Wayne Brady, nominated for\u00a0<em>Hell&#8217;s Kitchen<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Wiz<\/em>, respectively.
