The force adheres to the Ministry of Railways\u2019 Standard Operating Procedure for rescuing children, collaborating with various organisations to aid in child rescue missions under \u201cOperation Nanhe Farishte.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A recent incident on November 7, 2024, demonstrated the RPF\u2019s dedication. RPF officers Ishwar Chand Jat and R K Tripathi, while patrolling Khandwa station, noticed a young boy sitting alone on platform 4\/5. Upon counselling, they found that the boy, named Sumit, had a phone number tattooed on his right arm. When they contacted the number, Sumit\u2019s brother informed them that Sumit suffers from amnesia.
