His predecessor Arun Kanti Bhowmik, died after being affected by Covid-19-related complications.<\/p>\n<p>Dey had been practising at the Gauhati High Court before his appointment to the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/advocate-general-of-tripura\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Advocate General of Tripura<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--><br \/> Dey remarked, &#8220;All songs have an end like all seasons have a changeover, just like that.&#8221;&#8221;I have had a memorable and successful tenure of four years under two successive Chief Ministers (Biplab Kumar Deb and Manik Saha).
