The Coldplay<\/a> concert tickets in India sold out in less than an hour on BookMyShow, leaving many fans heartbroken. Tickets for the first show in Ahmedabad, set for January 25, were released at 12 pm on Saturday and were quickly snapped up within minutes.<\/p>\n

The British rock band is all set to perform for the first time in India in January 2025.<\/p>\n

Many disappointed fans have expressed frustration, stating they were stuck in long online queues but still couldn’t get a single ticket for the show.<\/p>\n

Tickets at Rs10 lakh:<\/h2>\n

The tickets are now being resold on platforms like Viagogo, with prices listed as high as Rs 9.9 lakh. An upper-tier ticket on third-party seller Viagogo was being resold for Rs. 9,95,139.

A search on the popular app reveals that tickets for the South Premium section are listed at Rs 2 lakh per person. The platform’s lowest-priced ticket starts at Rs 12,000, with around 950 tickets available for the January 25 show.<\/p>\n

Fans disappointed again:<\/h2>\n

Fans were left disappointed once again as the second set of tickets also sold out just as quickly. \u201cI\u2019m exhausted,\u201d one fan posted on X, as others shared similar sentiments.This is set to be Coldplay\u2019s fourth concert in India, following their previously announced shows in Mumbai in January 2025.<\/p>\n

The band, known for their chart-topping hits and massive global following, will perform at the 1.32 lakh-capacity Narendra Modi Stadium. The announcement of the second Ahmedabad show makes these concerts, with a potential audience of 1,00,000 fans, Coldplay’s biggest to date.<\/p>\n

The band’s India tour, which includes multiple performances at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai, has generated immense interest, causing both excitement and frustration among fans.<\/p>\n

In light of the overwhelming demand and reports of unauthorized resales, the Enforcement Directorate has launched an investigation into the alleged illegal sale of tickets, which had been sold at inflated prices on secondary platforms.
