Three workers died during a car test at a Hyundai factory complex in South Korea on Tuesday afternoon, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The three were found unconscious in a car while they were testing it in a “chamber” at the plant in the southeastern city of Ulsan, according to a union official.<\/p>\n

Two of the workers were Hyundai researchers involved in car testing at Hyundai’s No.4 factory, which is the company’s biggest manufacturing facility, a local police officer said.<\/p>\n

The officer reported police and the labour ministry were investigating the incident.<\/p>\n

According to local reports, the workers died of suffocation.<\/p>\n

The plant has its own port and an annual production capacity of 1.4 million vehicles, including exports of 1.1 million units.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
