It may further intensify into a depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal within the subsequent two days as it continues to move in the same direction.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the region is experiencing scattered low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection over the southwest Bay of Bengal, Palk Strait, and Gulf of Mannar.
