Glenn Phillips Catch:<\/strong> Glenn Phillips took a superman-like catch to dismiss England batter Ollie Pope on Day 2 of the ongoing New Zealand vs England Test Hagley Oval, Christchurch. Phillips took a sensational one-handed screamer at gully to help New Zealand break a crucial partnership between Harry Brooke and Pope as the former fell on the score of 77. This isn’t the first time Glenn Phillips has left the world in awe with his on-field brilliance. The New Zealand all-rounder is renowned for his acrobatic fielding, as well as his valuable contributions with both bat and ball.<\/p>\n

Looking set for a century, Pope was playing on the score of 77 off just 97 balls. On the second ball of the 53rd over in the second innings of the NZ vs ENG Test, Tim Southee bowled a short delivery outside off and Pope, looking to play a cut shot, made solid contact. The ball flew off the bat and looked set for a boundary but Phillips launched himself to his right at gully, flying through the air like a bird to pluck the ball one-handed while parallel to the ground.<\/p>\n
