For all Akshay Kumar<\/a> fans, we have an exciting update. On Tuesday, the actor shared the first-look poster of his horror-comedy film,\u00a0Bhooth Bangla<\/em>. Here, Akshay is sitting atop a pillar near the gate of a bungalow. He is wearing a white shirt and dhoti and a blue vest. The red scarf adds character to the whole look. Don’t miss the lantern in his hand.\u00a0Bhooth Bangla,\u00a0<\/em>directed by\u00a0 Priyadarshan, will be released on April 2, 2026. Akshay has also revealed that the shoot for\u00a0Bhooth Bangla\u00a0<\/em>has begun today, December 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the note attached to the poster, Akshay Kumar<\/a> wrote, \u201cBeyond excited to be on set with my favourite Priyadarshan as we begin the shoot of our horror comedy #BhoothBangla<\/em><\/a> today.\u00a0Yeh darr aur hasi ka double dose aapke liye ready hoga 2nd April, 2026 ko! Tab tak ke liye aapke best wishes chahiye<\/em>\u00a0[This double dose of fear and laughter will be ready for you on 2nd April, 2026! Until then, your best wishes are needed.]\u201d<\/p>\n

Before\u00a0Bhooth Bangla,\u00a0<\/em>Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan worked together in films such as\u00a0Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Bhool Bhulaiyaa.<\/em><\/p>\n

In September, on the sidelines of the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi, Priyadarshan talked about reuniting with Akshay Kumar for\u00a0Bhooth Bangla.\u00a0<\/em>“Every film I’ve made with him has been a super hit. People say that you are the reason Akshay (does comedy), but I don’t believe in all those things. What I did was exploit his sense of humour (on-screen). We are working after 14 years and I hope things will work. It’s a challenge. We can’t match the expectations (of the audience) but I’m trying my best,” the filmmaker told news agency PTI.<\/p>\n

Bhooth Bangla<\/em>\u00a0has been produced by Akshay Kumar, Shoba Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor and co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Vikaas Bali under the banners of Balaji Telefilms Limited and Cape Of God Films.<\/p>\n
