Shubman Gill<\/a> is ready to face the challenging Australian pace attack at the Gabba in the third Test starting Saturday. The bouncy pitch is known to be tough for touring batters.
Gill’s Test career began at the Gabba nearly four years ago during the deciding fourth match of the 2020-21 series. As a 21-year-old opener playing in his third Test, Gill scored a crucial 91. This contributed to India’s record chase of 328 runs, securing a 2-1 series victory.
While Rishabh Pant<\/a> was Player-of-the-Match for his unbeaten 89, Gill was also celebrated for his important role in the thrilling win.
Gill is happy to return to the Gabba for the third Test of the current five-match series, which is currently tied at 1-1.
