Kolkata: At least 10 Bangladeshi infiltrators and five Indian agents engaged in human trafficking have been arrested in Nadia district’s Dhantala and Hanskhali Police stations last night. The arrested persons were produced in a local court today. Meanwhile, advocate of arrested monk Chinmoy Krishna Das Rabindra Ghosh said on Thursday that international protocols have been violated in Bangladesh and 6653 incidents of atrocities against minorities have been reported in the recent past.Superintendent of Ranaghat Police District Kumar Sunny Raj said, \u201cIn continuation of the special drive against illegal immigration<\/a> Bangladeshi nationals and Indian touts, yesterday Hanskhali and Dhantala Police Station<\/a> joint team nabbed 15 persons, including five Indian touts, involved in cross border illegal activities.\u201d Among the 10 Bangladeshi nationals, a minor girl was also nabbed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are being forwarded in four cases (three cases in Dhantala PS and one old case in Hanskhali PS) to a LD court and the Indian touts are being taken in police remand<\/a> for further investigation,\u201d Raj said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bangladesh\u2019 Iskcon monk<\/a> Chinmoy Krishna\u2019s advocate Rabindra Ghosh said that in Bangladesh international protocols are being violated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have come to know that 6653 incidents have happened. The international protocols are being violated in Bangladesh. I was in Geneva, Europe and Canada and other countries. We are fighting for democracy. Why will Chinmoy Krishna stay in jail?\u201d Ghosh questioned.<\/p>\n


“I will try my best to go to Bangladesh and fight for Chinmoy Krishna Das. If I cannot return due to health reasons, I will engage a lawyer and we will fight it. I am fighting for the human rights. There is an attempt to keep the monk in jail,\u201d Ghosh claimed.\u201cChinmoy Krishna Das cannot be given sedition charges. Why will Chinmoy Krishna Das stay in jail? There is an attempt to make him stay in jail and stop judicial interference,\u201d he said.\u201cI will try to fight the case. If I fail to reach there for medical ailment, I will engage lawyers for him,\u201d Ghosh said, adding, \u201cIf I cannot go for my health reasons, I will engage few lawyers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iskcon Kolkata Vice-President and spokesperson Radharaman Das said, \u201cRabindra Ghosh is a brave person. He wants to fight for Chinmoy Krishna Das.\u201d Ghosh came to the Iskcon temple and offered his prayers and also met Radharaman Das.
