The police complied with the court&#8217;s directive and submitted a report to Principal District and Sessions Judge Ram Sharma on Saturday. The court had instructed the officer in charge of <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/rajganj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rajganj<\/a> police station to present the bhang and ganja seized six years ago.<\/p>\n<p>In his report, the officer stated that the narcotics substances stored in the malkhana (store) of the police station were completely destroyed by rats.<\/p>\n<p>The officer further mentioned that a report regarding this incident has been filed at the police station.<\/p>\n<p>On December 14, 2018, Rajganj police had arrested Shambhu Prasad Agrawal and his son with 10 kg of bhang and nine kg of ganja. An FIR had been registered against them at the police station.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial, the court had directed Investigating Officer Jayprakash Prasad to present the confiscated bhang and ganja in court on April 6.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Prasad appeared in the court on Saturday with an application of the Rajganj police station officer in-charge saying that rats destroyed all confiscated material,&#8221; defence lawyer in the case, Abhay <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/bhatt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bhatt<\/a>, told PTI.
