If you’ve loved Akshay Kumar’s brief cameo in Stree 2<\/em>, then there’s some good news to celebrate!<\/p>\n

The actor is returning as the villain in the film’s third installment\u00a0Stree 3<\/em><\/a>. Dinesh Vijan, the producer behind the beloved horror-comedy universe, has confirmed it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Sunday (January 5), Akshay Kumar attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film\u00a0Sky Force<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in Mumbai. The million-dollar question from the event was whether the actor will be a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, again.<\/p>\n

In conversation with News18<\/a>, he replied, \u201cWhat can I say? Dinesh and Jyoti (producer) will have to decide that. They’re the ones to pump in the money. Aur Amar Kaushik ko direct karna hai<\/em>. (And Amar Kaushik will have to direct the film).\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

That’s when Dinesh Vijan chimed in, saying, \u201cOf course, he’s a part of the universe! He’s our Thanos.” Dinesh Vijan donned the producer’s cap for\u00a0Sky Force<\/em>\u00a0too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Movies like\u00a0Stree, Stree 2 Bhediya, Munjya, a<\/em>nd Roohi<\/em>\u00a0are backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Akshay Kumar’s malicious character in\u00a0Stree 2<\/em>\u00a0created much hype. He was portrayed as the leader at a mental hospital.<\/p>\n

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor <\/a>played the lead in\u00a0Stree 2<\/em>.\u00a0Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana were a part of the project as well. Besides Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannah Bhatia also made guest appearances.<\/p>\n

Directed by Amar Kaushik,\u00a0Stree 2<\/em>\u00a0is the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster\u00a0Stree<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Maddock Films recently released a lineup of eight films scheduled to release in the coming years.\u00a0 From\u00a0Stree 3\u00a0<\/em>to\u00a0Bhediya 2<\/em>\u00a0along with newer additions, the list is enough to make fans happy.<\/p>\n
