Kate Winslet has an exceptional body of work to her credit, and it would be obvious to term her as a legend in her profession. However, it seems that the actress thinks otherwise.<\/p>\n

She was addressed as a “legend”, by the host, Nikki Glaser, at the Golden Globes Awards recently, and the cameras captured her instant reaction of discomfort to it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her name was taken alongside Cate Blanchett and Collin Farrell.<\/p>\n

Her cringed expression went viral on social media, and netizens started reacting to it. As the cameras zoomed in further, she was seen mouthing, “Why me?”<\/p>\n

With several highlights from the ceremony this year<\/a>, from Timothee-Kylie’s PDA to Zendaya sparking engagement rumours, Winslet’s unfiltered reaction was definitely hailed as unmissable.<\/p>\n

Social Media had a flurry of comments, discussing what had unfolded. One user commented, “Kate Winslet\u00a0hiding from the camera is funnier than anything else we’ll see tonight.”<\/p>\n

While someone else mentioned, “Kate Winslet’s face LOOOOOL.”<\/p>\n

Another section of people were of the opinion that her reaction was the perfect content for making memes that would become an instant hit.<\/p>\n

The Titanic<\/em> actress was nominated in two categories at the Golden Globes 2025.<\/p>\n

One, was for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Movie, for her performance in Lee<\/em>. The other one was for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television for The Regime<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, she didn’t win this year, as the award for the latter category was bagged by Jodie Foster for True Detective: Night Country<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 82nd Golden Globes Awards<\/a> was held at the Beverly Hilton, on January 5, 2025. It recognizes talents across film and television.
