ACB officials conducted raids at seven locations, from where gadgets and some papers were recovered. <\/p>\n<p>ACB has registered two first information reports at its police station in Srinagar against the two officials under section 13(1)(b) r\/w 13(2) of <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/prevention-of-corruption-act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prevention of Corruption Act<\/a>, 1988, for possession of assets which are prima facie disproportionate to their known sources of lawful income.<\/p>\n<p><a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/srinagar-smart-city-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Srinagar Smart City project<\/a> was approved in April 2017 and comprises two parts &#8211; Area Based Development with an estimated cost of \u20b92,869.24 crore and Pan City Solutions with an estimated cost of \u20b9765.03 crore. SSCL, a special purpose vehicle, was incorporated on September 8, 2017, under the Companies Act, 2013, and the company is limited by shares. The ACB officials were tight-lipped about the involvement of other officials who worked or are currently posted at SSCL. ACB has received several complaints regarding SSCL. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The officials posted in <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/srinagar-smart-city-ltd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Srinagar Smart City Ltd<\/a> have accumulated assets disproportionate to their lawful known source of income and the suspects are also living lavish and luxurious life,&#8221; said Abdul Waheed Shah, assistant inspector general of police at ACB. <\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--><br \/>Bhat owns a commercial property at Rambagh in Srinagar with significantly higher value than the sale deed amount paid by him, according to ACB. He allegedly has multiple bank accounts with suspicious transactions and made riches illicitly by indulging in corrupt practices, it said.
