The speculations were true after all: Tom Holland <\/a>and Zendaya are now engaged. We are not making such claims. Tom Holland’s father Dominic Holland has announced it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Friday (January 10), Dominic Holland spilled the beans on his son’s engagement in a Patreon <\/a>post. He wrote, \u201cTom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared. He had spoken with her (Zendaya) father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out\u2026 When, where, how, what to say, what to wear\u2026”<\/p>\n

Dominic Holland added that Tom Holland was \u201cmore concerned\u201d about the engagement ring stone. He said, \u201cFor most blokes, the stress of purchasing an engagement ring is being able to afford it. I suspect that this was the least of Tom’s worries, more concerned with the stone, its size and clarity, housing, which jeweller\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The father also mentioned that Tom Holland and Zendaya <\/a>are likely to make a \u201csuccessful union.\u201d He said, \u201cAnd even though show business is a messy place for relationships and particularly so for famous couples as they crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention \u2026 I am completely confident they will make a successful union.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zendaya hinted at her engagement<\/a> with Tom Holland at the 82nd edition of the Golden Globes Awards. She walked the red carpet wearing a 5-carat diamond ring. Interestingly, when a reporter showed her ring to Zendaya, the actress did the same, reported Los Angeles Times.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

When the reporter asked Zendaya, \u201cAre you engaged?\u201d, the Dune<\/em> actress smiled mysteriously and shrugged her shoulders. Inevitably, her actions and non-verbal gestures added fuel to the rumours.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tom Holland and Zendaya’s relationship status was confirmed in 2021. The couple worked together in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/em>.\u00a0They also shared screen space in Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em>. The pair have been roped in again for Christopher Nolan’s untitled project.\u00a0<\/p>\n
