The total financial impact of the audit findings is about Rs 2,026.91 crore,\u201d the CAG stated, pointing out various violations such as improper award of licences to wholesalers, improper appointment of retailers, and lack of oversight in liquor distribution. Licences were given to unqualified entities without following excise rules.The report comes amid the ongoing liquor scam controversy and the arrests of Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and others by the ED and CBI, which has already become a divisive issue. <\/p>\n<p>It is expected to intensify the conflict between AAP and BJP.
