NEW DELHI: India skipper Smriti Mandhana<\/a> continued her sensational form, smashing a blistering century in the third Women’s ODI against Ireland at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

This remarkable knock marked Mandhana’s 10th ODI century, tying her with England’s Tammy Beaumont for third-most centuries in women\u2019s ODIs. The list is led by Australian great Meg Lanning<\/a> with 15 centuries, followed by New Zealand\u2019s Suzie Bates with 13.

    The 28-year-old reached her milestone in style, taking a quick two off Arlene Kelly in the 24th over. The crowd erupted in cheers as Mandhana acknowledged the applause with a radiant smile.

      She was eventually dismissed for 135, off 80 balls, which included seven sixes and 12 fours. Ireland’s Orla Prendergast got the prized wicket as Ava Canning took a regulation catch at short fine leg in the 27th over. By then, Mandhana had added 233 runs for the opening wicket with Rawal.
      India, already leading the three-match series 2-0, showcased their dominance yet again. Mandhana’s decision to bat first proved fruitful as the Indian batters capitalised on the conditions. <\/p>\n

      The hosts made two changes to their lineup, with Tanuja Kanwar and Minnu Mani replacing Saima Thakor and Priya Mishra. For Ireland, the unchanged XI struggled to contain the Indian onslaught, with their bowlers unable to make breakthroughs in the innings.
