Nawash left his house on January 14 at <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/heingang\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heingang<\/a> in Thoubal District for ransom.<\/p>\n<p>Md. Nawash was brought dead to <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/thoubal-district-hospital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thoubal District Hospital<\/a> on January 15.<\/p>\n<p>Those arrested were identified as Sagolsem Chingkheinganba Singh, Chingakham Sanatomba Singh , Sapam Somorjit Singh, Maibam Bokenjit Singh, Athokpam Jiban Singh and Chingakham Mani Singh.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Arambai Tenggol, in a statement, has claimed that their members were not involved in the incident. It also claimed that the group whenever detained those involved in <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/drug-trafficking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drug trafficking<\/a> handed them over to the police.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--> <br \/>In another incident, police arrested two active cadres of the Kangleipak Communist Party (Progressive Wing Group) from Uripok Mayai Leikai in Imphal West District on Wednesday night.
