At just 26 years old, Priya Saroj is a rising young figure in Indian politics, representing Uttar Pradesh<\/a>‘s Machhlishahr constituency as its Member of Parliament. Despite her family’s political background, Priya’s initial career aspirations were far from politics. “Growing up, I never imagined stepping into politics,” Priya shared in an interview to Indian Express. “After graduating in law, I was preparing for judgeship exams during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even when my ticket was announced, I was attending online classes for those exams.”
Educated at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi, Delhi University, and Amity University, Noida, Priya practiced law in the Supreme Court before her foray into politics. Her legal background and fresh perspective have made her a key player in her constituency and beyond.
