It’s Javed Akhtar’s birthday. The legendary screenwriter turns 80.<\/p>\n

Tributes have been pouring in from all quarters to honour Javed Akhtar<\/a>‘s legacy. But it was Farah Khan who came up with the most special wish.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The filmmaker shared a throwback video from a party on Instagram. In the clip, Javed Akhtar is seen dancing with Farah Khan. He displays amazing zeal and enthusiasm matching steps to the song\u00a0Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam<\/em>. FYI: The track is from the Shah Rukh Khan-led film\u00a0Duplicate<\/em>\u00a0featuring Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre. It was later remade for the movie\u00a0Bad Newz<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Farah Khan<\/a>‘s birthday message read, \u201cHappy 80th birthday to the youngest guy in any room Javed Akhtar. Definitely dancing better than Shabana Azmi.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala wished Javed Akhtar a \u201chappy birthday\u201d in the comments section. Zoya Akhtar reacted by dropping a heart-eye and a heart emoji.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guess who else wished the birthday boy? It was Anil Kapoor. He uploaded a series of pictures on Instagram with Javed Akhtar. The opening monochrome frame in the carousel shows Javed Akhtar presenting Anil Kapoor with an award.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Major highlight: A throwback gem capturing Javed Akhtar, his wife Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. Javed Akhtar’s son and actor-director Farhan Akhtar made an appearance in a separate snap.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In his side note, Anil Kapoor thanked Javed Akhtar for his \u201cguidance and unwavering support.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He wrote, \u201cHappy 80th Birthday, Javed Saab! Your guidance and unwavering support have been pivotal in my journey as an actor. You believed in me when I could hardly believe in myself, and that encouragement has truly shaped the actor I am today. I will always be grateful for that.\u201d<\/p>\n
