NEW DELHI: The “Pushpa” celebration, inspired by Allu Arjun<\/a>‘s blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise, has become a viral trend in the world of cricket.
The signature gesture, where Allu Arjun wipes his chin with the back of his hand and makes a confident strut, symbolizes dominance and swag, and has been adopted by several cricketers across formats.
From David Warner to Ravindra Jadeja<\/a> and Suryakumar Yadav<\/a> to Nitish Reddy, cricketers across the globe have embraced the “Pushpa” celebration in style.
And the latest to join the trend is Pakistan<\/a> pacer Mohammad Amir<\/a>, who demonstrated the signature move in the ongoing ILT20 tournament in Dubai.
Playing for Desert Vipers against Sharjah Warriorz on Thursday, Amir dismissed Rohan Mustafa<\/a>, caught by Sam Curran<\/a> at mid-off for his third wicket.
As Curran took the catch, Amir made the signature move of wiping his chin with the back of his hand in celebration.<\/p>\n

Desert Vipers went on to win the match by 10 wickets and Amir was adjudged the Man of the Match for taking 4\/24 in 3.1 overs.
