Jasprit Bumrah’s dominance in Test cricket reached new heights in 2024, making him the highest wicket-taker of the year with 71 scalps. His stellar performances left England’s Gus Atkinson, who took 52 wickets, far behind.<\/p>\n

Bumrah bowled 357 overs in 2024, maintaining an economy of 2.96. By achieving this feat, he joined the elite company of Indian legends Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, and R Ashwin, becoming the fourth Indian bowler to take over 70 wickets in a calendar year.<\/p>\n
