Kaurav in the Delhi High Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Saluja has sought a declaration, along with mandatory and permanent injunctions, to nullify the agenda and proposed resolution for her replacement at the 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of REL, set to be held on February 7, 2025. She has requested the court to direct the company to withdraw the resolution and restrain it from putting the agenda item to vote or declaring any results related to it.<\/p>\n<p>According to Saluja, proceeding with the proposed resolution at the upcoming AGM would constitute a grave miscarriage of justice, violate established legal principles and <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/corporate-governance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">corporate governance<\/a> norms, and severely prejudice her rights.<\/p>\n<p>She further claimed that at REL\u2019s 38th AGM, her reappointment as Executive Chairperson for a five-year term, effective February 26, 2023, was duly approved. However, it was erroneously recorded that she was &#8220;liable to retire by rotation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:5--><br \/>The AGM will be keenly watched by the market participation as the notable resolution is the reappointment of Dr Rashmi Saluja, who has been at the helm of a battle with the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/panache\/panache-people-101\/burman-family\/profileshow\/84815712.cms\" rel=\"noopener\">Burman family<\/a> on the control of the company.
