Their bodies were being brought back to Bengal on Thursday. Poddar had reportedly fallen during the stampede as she was going towards the Triveni Sangam following pressure from the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>The family has raised concern as the bodies were being sent without a proper death certificate.<\/p>\n<p>Tapan Dasgupta, the local councillor, said, \u201cThe death certificate has not been issued. Only a paper was given with a signature of the son. This has been done to evade compensation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--><br \/>Poddar\u2019s body will be brought to Kolkata\u2019s MR Bangur Hospital in Kolkata. West Bengal minister Aroop Biswas has slammed the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/yogi-adityanath-government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yogi Adityanath government<\/a> for the mismanagement and said there was an attempt to hide things under the carpet.\u201cThere were no police or volunteers. There was no cooperation from the police and administration. Suddenly, the crowd surged and we all fell. I was unconscious and was rescued. My mother was rescued after 15 minutes. Three people were lying on my mother. The authorities said the death certificate will be sent after ten days,\u201d Poddar\u2019s son said on reaching Kolkata.Urmila Bhuniyan (78) had gone to Maha Kumbh with her daughter and son-in-law. Dulal Bhuniyan, a relative of Urmila, said, \u201cUrmila\u2019s body will be coming to Bengal through the state administration.
