SA20 League 2025 Final:<\/strong> The SA20 League 2025 comes to an end and MI Cape Town are the winners of Season 3, with them handing a 76-run defeat to Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the Final.<\/p>\n

As the tournament now comes to an end, awards have been handed out, with MI Cape Town expectedly winning multiple awards.<\/p>\n

“First of all, with the bat. After winning the toss, the boys have batted well throughout the season. We scratched to the 180-run mark on the board at halftime, but we didn’t think that the job was done. The boys bowled really well, not only tonight but all over the season. Very satisfying to get the job done with the ball,” said Trent Boult, Player of the Final.<\/p>\n

“South Africa is a beautiful place to play. The tournament is very well-followed and has great hype. From my point of view, I am very inexperienced bowling in these conditions. I thought it swung at the right time. It was nice to get on a wicket that had help for the bowlers,” said the Kiwi pacer.<\/p>\n

“To lift the trophy will be a great reward for a great season. Players stood up at the right points this season. Some players in the set-up don’t need an introduction. First, I walked to the dressing room, and the noise was to play for each other. It is the best ingredient to any team,” he added.<\/p>\n

“Yeah, thank you. It was amazing. I am glad that I could perform for my team in this season. I was very nervous and a lot of pressure to perform. The coaching staff kept me calm throughout the season. Yeah, I used to be a very defensively player. I have changed that and now I am going to stick with this one. I have got a lot of backing from all the coaches which has been really good for me. I have learnt a lot from Rooty and also from a couple of big players. I will remember this for a very long time,” said Lhuan-de Pretorius, Batter of the Season.<\/p>\n

“For me, it is easy! When I met Dale Steyn in the last season, he asked me not to bowl like a goofball (chuckles). We adapted well as bowlers. We always found a way to get the team over the line. Whenever our bowlers got a chance, spin or pace, they impacted the game,” said Marco Jansen, Bowler of the Season and Player of the Season.<\/p>\n

“Yes, I just try to learn from the top-order batters in the nets. Aiden Markram and Tristan Stubbs are always willing to help. I always just try to do what I can to bring the team to a winning position. Sometimes, I am on the lucky side to put the team on the winning side, and it’s definitely needed in this format. I just try to do my best whenever I walk onto the pitch,” he added.<\/p>\n
