Drawing a parallel with cricket, he remarked, “The Champions Trophy is going on these days… But today, I am not going to talk about cricket with you all; rather, I will talk about the wonderful century that India has made in space.”He highlighted the nation’s steady progress in space technology, citing the achievements of Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, Aditya L-1, and the record-breaking launch of 104 satellites in a single mission. “With time, the list of our achievements in space flight continues to grow longer,” he added.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s space journey, he noted, began with humble origins but has now positioned itself as a global leader. The success of ISRO is not just a scientific triumph but a testament to the nation\u2019s resilience and ambition in space exploration.<\/p>\n

Promoting Science: \u2018One Day as a Scientist\u2019<\/h2>\n

PM Modi encouraged citizens, particularly students, to develop a scientific temperament. He urged them to observe National Science Day<\/a> by spending “one day as a scientist.” He suggested visits to research laboratories, planetariums, and space centres, stating, “This will increase your curiosity and enrichment about science.”<\/p>\n

Recalling his recent visit to Paris for the AI Action Summit, where he co-chaired discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, he emphasised India\u2019s rapid advancements in the field. “Recently, I visited Paris to participate in a big AI conference. There, the world greatly appreciated India\u2019s progress in this sector,” he stated.The Paris Summit discussed vital aspects such as safe AI access, environmentally friendly AI development, and global governance standards. PM Modi reinforced the importance of AI in transforming sectors like healthcare and agriculture, calling it “the code for humanity in this century.”He also praised grassroots efforts in AI innovation, citing the work of Thodasam Kailash, a government schoolteacher from Telangana\u2019s Adilabad district. Kailash used AI tools to compose a song in the Kolami language, helping to preserve the tribal dialect. “Be it the space sector or AI, the increasing participation of our youth has brought in a new revolution,” Modi remarked.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Day Initiative: Handing Over Social Media to Inspiring Women<\/h2>\n

In a significant move to honour women\u2019s contributions, PM Modi announced that on National Women\u2019s Day, he would hand over his social media accounts to inspiring women from across India. “I will hand over my social media accounts for a day to inspiring women to mark National Women’s Day,” he declared.<\/p>\n
